New York Mets launcher Jonah Tong felt fans during the week because he revealed a hot food that he hoped to respect others.

In a recent interview, he let MLB fans scratch his head a little when he offered his own hot version of one of his favorite bites – the grilled cheese sandwich.

The Canadian baseball player told World Baseball Network that he dipped his sandwiches with grilled cheese in maple syrup and that he loves “absolutely”. He explained his love for the association of strange food in a separate interview with MLB’s CUT4.
