Journalist Khawar Hussain has found Bloodhar killed

Khawar Hussain, journalist and journalist based in Karachi for Dawn News Channel, was found killed Sunday in Sanghar, police announced.

Hussain had been sitting in his car for hours outside a private hotel on Hyderabad Road in Sanghar City, police said.

Dig Faisal Bashir said that video surveillance images from outside the hotel are being examined.

At one point, according to Dawn News Reporter Asim Khan, Hussain was seen in the restaurant in video surveillance images. He asked for the toilet and then returned to his car.

Witnesses told the police that no noise of gunshots had been heard. The car windows were rolled up and no evidence was found any anyone nearby or agitation around the vehicle.

DIG call data records have been recovered and are available within 24 hours. The body was placed in a hyderabad morgue, while the autopsy is expected.

Sanjhay Sadhwani, colleague of Hussain, said that the journalist has been a political journalist for 10 years, after working with APNA News And New AAJ Before joining Dawn News.

The Karachi Press Club, where Hussain was an active member, demanded an impartial investigation and announced a period of three -day mourning.

SCPJMP requests a police report on the death of Khawar Hussain

The Sindh Commission for the protection of journalists and other media practitioners (SCPJMP) expressed its concern about the sudden death of Khawar Hussain and asked for a detailed police report.

In a letter addressed to the principal superintendent of the Sanghar police, the commission ordered him to submit the initial report on the incident. He has also asked for details on the investigation carried out and the measures taken so far.

Copies of the directive have been transmitted to the president of the SCPJMP, to the focal person in Sanghar, the secretary of the Interior Department and the Sindh Police Inspector. The letter was published by Saeed Memon, secretary of the SCPJMP.

PPP president Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said Hussain was a conscientious and responsible professional whose sudden death was a shock for the fraternity of the media.

Sindh’s main minister Sharjeel Inam Memon qualified his death as an irreparable loss, while the Minister of the Sindh, Zia-Ul-Hassan Lanjar, asked for a report to SSP Bloodhar and said that Hussain’s contributions to journalism were unforgettable.

Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, Minister of Sindh Nasir Shah, the mayor of Karachi Murtaza Wahab and Shazia Marri also expressed deep pain about his death.
