Islamabad:
In a demonstration of good will, a Chinese company has brought joy and hope to disadvantaged children by giving essential supplies to an Islamabad orphanage, marking a special celebration of International Children’s Day.
The Pakistan branch of Pakistan China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) contributed to a helping hand from Islamabad China-Pakistan One Heart Step and Cure Home (ICOSH), items offering 2 million rupees, including school supplies, daily necessities, sports equipment and electrical devices.
The contribution aims to improve living conditions and education possibilities for children in the establishment.
Created in 2023 by the Beijing One Heart Sphere Charitable Foundation and the China-Pakistan Youth Exchange community (CPYEC), ICOSH initially focused on assistance to seriously ill Pakistani patients looking for medical treatment in the capital.
Over time, it has extended to a paradise for disabled and seriously sick children, while providing full -time care to 21 orphans, Gwadar Pro reported on Tuesday. Since its creation on May 28, 2023, ICOSH has supported more than 130 orphans and children with serious illnesses. The last contribution of Chinese society underlines the in -depth friendship between China and Pakistan, reflecting the spirit of shared compassion and mutual support.
The donation ceremony was followed by Yang Guangyuan, Advisor Minister of the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan, who granted warm greetings about children to young residents.
“It is an honor to participate in this significant initiative,” said Yang. “We hope that this event marks a new chapter in the deepening of humanitarian cooperation China-Pakistan and inspires more social forces to contribute to this noble cause.” Addressing the event, Wang Yaodong, CEO of CSCEC Pakistan, underlined the business commitment of the company to social responsibility in parallel with the development of infrastructure.
ICOSH children also celebrated children’s day with special activities, taking advantage of games and performance in a festive atmosphere.
