Constitutional Court judges Aamir Farooq and Hassan Azhar Rizvi will sit on the second floor
Two judges of the Federal Constitutional Court (FCC), Justice Rozi Khan and Justice (retd) Arshad Hussain Shah, were sworn in on Monday. Chief Justice Aminuddin Khan took oath in a ceremony held at the Islamabad High Court.
Judges of the Federal Court, judges of the Constitutional Court, magistrates and court officials attended the ceremony.
Among the Federal Court judges present were Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi and Justice Aamer Farooq, while Justice Ali Baqar Najafi and Justice KK Agha were also present.
From the Islamabad High Court (IHC), Chief Justice Sarfraz Dogar, Justice Arbab Tahir, Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro, Justice Inam Amin Minhas, Justice Asif and Justice Azam Khan were present.

With the induction of the two judges, the strength of the Federal Constitutional Court now reaches seven. A court sign has been installed outside Courtroom No. 2 of the IHC.
Constitutional Court judges Aamir Farooq and Hassan Azhar Rizvi will sit on the second floor, where the courtrooms of Justice Muhammad Asif and Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro are also located.
The relocation of the courtrooms resulted in the cancellation of the cause lists of Justice Muhammad Asif and Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro for the day.
Chief Justice Aminuddin Khan constituted three benches for the FCC. Bench 1 includes Chief Justice Justice Ali Baqir Najafi and Justice Arshad Hussain. Bench 2 comprises Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi and Justice KK Agha, while Bench 3 comprises Justice Aamir Farooq and Justice Rozi Khan.

The Constitutional Court began its work today, with the opening of the judicial hearing with the recitation of the Holy Quran. A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Aminuddin Khan is expected to hear five cases.
Earlier, the newly created FCC released its first list of cases, officially launching legal proceedings under the newly created Supreme Judicial Forum.
Three FCC benches will begin hearing cases this week. A separate two-member bench comprising Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice KK Agha will also start hearing cases from today.
Chief Justice Aminuddin Khan on Friday issued his first major administrative order, appointing key court officials.
