In a hard-hitting statement, JUI-F spokesperson Aslam Ghori said Gandapur’s real role was nothing more than a pawn planted to create discord within the opposition. He added that Gandapur was a cause of embarrassment for the founder of his own party.

Earlier in the day, while speaking to reporters after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) delegation’s talks with the government in Islamabad, Gandapur sharply criticized JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, saying the JUI-F leader was much inferior in stature. than Imran Khan.

Referring to Fazl’s allegations that the elections were rigged, Gandapur said the JUI-F leader was misled. “You have definitely been deceived; the promises made to you have not been kept. Name those who deceived you and don’t talk about us,” Gandapur said.

Responding to the chief minister’s harsh remarks, the JUI-F spokesperson said in a statement that Fazl was not misled, rather it was the PTI founder who was misled. Ghori warned that Gandapur was on a mission to divide the opposition and therefore bragged on television.

“Pawns like Ali Amin Gandapur are being used to divide the opposition.
