Justin Garza launcher was planning to leave the game he loved during the COVVI-19 pandemic in 2020 while he was struggling in the minor leagues.
However, while Garza joins the New York dishes now after an agreement with the Giants of San Francisco, he attributes something to save his career.

“MLB The show was actually a large part that I learned to present and find how to launch,” Garza told the New York Post. “It’s so realistic, just playing this video game.”
Garza is not the only professional sports player to use video games to prepare games or rework his mechanics.

Garza specifically uses the Diamond Mode Game dynasty, where he said that the different angles of the camera helped him discover how to use his locations. Using the point of view of a recipient to launch, he started reworking his arsenal.
Although it is not intentional, he was happy something clicked by playing the game.

Garza was a choice of eighth round by the Cleveland Guardians in 2015, but he had trouble in his first professional ball taste. He was only able to display only season with an ERA under the age of five, with a 3.36 MPM in 2018.
However, the pandemic break saw Garza as a rejuvenated launcher on the mound.
Garza posted an MPM of 1.59 with 31 stick withdrawals in 14 games in Triple-A Columbus before being called for the first time in his career. He had 21 appearances in 2021 in the big leagues.
He did not go back to the big leagues before 2023, this time with the Boston Red Sox, but that did not go as planned. Garza had an MPM of 8.35 in 17 appearances (start) before being transferred to the giants.

Garza was in Triple-A Sacramento this year before moving to the food.
