Dutch speed skater Jutta Leerdam, fiancée of boxer Jake Paul, won her second medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics on Sunday.
Leerdam won a silver medal in the women’s 500 meters. She finished just behind fellow Dutchwoman Femke Kok, who won gold. Kok clocked 36.49, setting an Olympic record. Leerdam finished in 37.15, which was the best time before the Kok race.

Japan’s Miho Takagi won the bronze medal with a time of 37.27. American runners failed to reach the podium in this event. Beijing 2022 gold medalist Erin Jackson finished fifth with a time of 37.32.
Paul was there to watch Leerdam compete in the race. He cheered her on and was amazed as she crossed the finish line the fastest ever.

It was Leerdam’s first medal in this event. She also finished second in the 500 meters at the World Championships last year.
Leerdam won the gold medal in the 1,000 meters earlier in the Games. She set an Olympic record with a time of 1:12.31, which eclipsed a time previously set by Kok.
