The quarter of the Kansas State Wildcats, Avery Johnson, published a statement apologizing for his role in a fight after the team defeat against the state of Iowa on Saturday.
Johnson had 21 out of 30 with 273 yards by the pass and two Touché passes. He also had 21 yards on the ground and a precipitated touch. He had a pass of 65 yards touched at Jerand Bradley with 6:25 to play in the match, but the Wildcats failed to recover the ball after the scoring.

At the end of the game, a video on social networks seemed to show the father and brother of Johnson who embarked on a fight with other fans in Dublin. The match was played in Ireland as part of the Aer Lingus college football classic.

“We sincerely apologize for our actions after yesterday’s football match in Ireland,” said the Johnson family in a statement, via ON3 Sports. “The insane quarrels have been transformed into an unnecessary fight. We have resolved our differences and ensured the responsibility of our actions.
“We apologized to our immediate and enlarged family, and we are now expanding our apologies to the state University of Kansas, their elders and fans. We regret this incident, have learned of it and we are committed to ensuring that this does not happen again. Please accept our deepest apologies.”
