In August 2024, Kai Trump, President Donald Trump’s granddaughter, announced that she was verbally committed to playing university golf course at the University of Miami.
Trump will register in 2026 to continue her golf career, which was a passion for her since she took a club at two years.
But while Trump has many different hats she wears, including the creation of content for her millions of followers on social networks, do not be mistaken: the objective is to be a professional golfer.

“Yes, this is the case. 100%,” she told PK Press Club Digital, while discussing her zero partnership with Accelerator Active Energy on Tuesday.
Trump is another year of high school before being able to go to Miami to help the Hurricanes on the course. And she knows what she has to do to prepare for this.

“Playing many events, just gaining experience,” said Trump. “But also practice. If I have two hours, I’m not going to hit a few balls, go on my phone and scroll. No, I’m going to take full advantage of the time I have on the course.
“I think it will have fun with a higher level, as well as training in the gymnasium, to become stronger and to play more laps.”
In turn, Trump has chosen Miami because she thinks that it will help him achieve this ultimate goal of playing in a professional tour.
“The more I play golf, the better I will do. Getting the experience. Miami gave me an excellent opportunity, and I’m really waiting for it,” she said.

Trump also understands how much the balance as a student-athlete will be at this level, especially with regard to his other passions. But she says golf is the top priority the second she walks on campus.
And when she is on the course, Trump enters this competitive state that she feels “that you cannot really teach”.
“I don’t know, it could be a family gene or something,” she said, smiling. “Yeah, on the course, it’s something that you cannot really teach. But I just have a very competitive side for me, especially having brothers and a large family. You sometimes have to be competitive.”
If Trump wants to see these professional dreams made, being competitive is a necessity while she is looking at this next step in a golf career that she hopes will be on tour one day.
Partnership with Accelerator
Being a university athlete in today’s NCAA means having the ability to take advantage of your brand, and Kai has already developed a sequel through its social networks and its passions of content creation.

In turn, she concluded an Nile partnership with Accelerator Active Energy, becoming the brand’s first Golf Nile partner, while being a shareholder.
Accelerator Active Energy is the brand that has been acclaimed for launching “The Livvy Fund” with the former Livvy Dunne university gymnastics to support female university athletes. And while Dunne is an action partner, the superstar of Kansas City chiefs, Travis Kelce.
A video on the theme of the presidential election, in which Kai is addressed to “American compatriots and creators of content,” announced this decision, which could not be more excited.
“It is rather cool, especially to be partners with such great athletes and to be up there too with them,” she said.
