The documentary maker added: “I was there as a journalist, a documentary. He never really broke the fourth wall for me. I had a deep feeling of empathy and he was always polite for me – even a kind of mentor, at least in a creative way.”
Speaking about the distance form the rapper’s political content, Nico added: “I do not support anti -Semitism, obviously, nor the speech of hatred. He and I do not share the same opinions … We are human. It is really there that I am. He is a person – he is a human.”
