Torrential rains beat Karachi on Tuesday, paralyzing daily life, flooding the roads and leaving many shuttlers blocked for hours. The vehicles were trapped in long queues through the main lanes due to engorging, while the residents had trouble reaching their destinations.
Despite the disruption, the spirit of the karachites has remained introduced. Companies, stores and mosques have opened their doors to blocked passers -by, offering them a place to sit and rest.
“If you are caught in the rain, our doors are open. Enter, sit, dry and do home. You are welcome to use our wifi, load your phone or just wait for the clouds to be erased, no need to order one thing. And to warm up, enjoy a cup of tea for free,” the coffee announced.
The gesture was not isolated. Through Karachi, citizens went to social networks offering aid to blocked people. The offices, the mosques, the Madaris and the premises of the political party have opened their doors to a temporary shelter.
“My office in phase 7 of the DHA … If you want, you can stay there,” read an article on social networks. Another offered a space near Shahrah-E-Faisal: “If someone is stuck in Shahrah-E-Faisal, then can stay at our office at the Tower fortune.”
Local residents of other regions also intervened. “Any help required near Gulshan-E-Iqbal Block 7 I am available,” said a post. Another offered a shelter near Clifton Block 8 and Pechs Block 6, providing loading, water and food installations.
Khizar Khan has confirmed an effort on the city level. “We have opened all of our 103 mosques, Madaris and festive offices through Karachi. Night stay, the loading installations of the phone, toilets, food and drinks will be there. Do not hesitate to get there if you are stuck. ”
The outpouring of support highlighted the resilience and generosity of karachites, providing relief to people affected by sudden floods.

Lourdes monsoon rains have struck various parts of the city, the city of Saadi receiving the most recorded precipitation. According to the Pakistan meteorological department, the following precipitation measures were recorded through Karachi.

On the directives of Mayor Murtaza Wahab, an emergency of rain was applied through Karachi, all the teams placed on high alert to respond to urban floods, traffic disturbances and other rainy incidents.
