Kate Middleton joins Prince William to welcome French President Macron

President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte were welcomed by Prince William and Kate Middleton while the French couple landed in London on Tuesday.

Later, King Charles and Queen Camilla praised Macron and his wife when they arrived for a three -day visit.

Prince William was accompanied by his wife Princess Catherine in a rare joint appearance when the royal couple greeted the guests to Raf Northolt, before Macron and his wife meet the king and the queen on a platform built in the city center of Windsor.

Accompanied by the heir to the throne William and Kate the group then climbed in several cars drawn for a procession in Windsor which finished in the courtyard of the medieval castle, west of London.

The broadcaster said that it was the first state visit to a French president since 2008 and the first by a head of the European Union since Brexit.

The official Instagram account of the Prince and the Princess of Wales shared the couple’s photos before Macron’s arrival at the airport.

Another photo published on their Instagram stories showed that the couple received the couple visiting.

The photo was shared with the Frenchman greeting “Hello”.

Macron enjoys a strong personal relationship with the king, and there were smiles while the pair met alongside their women Brigitte and Queen Camilla, watched by soldiers on horseback, in the blue tunic ceremonies and scarlet plumes.

Before going to London Tuesday afternoon to contact Parliament, Macron joined Charles to inspect the guard of honor. He had to have lunch with the family and visit the royal collection, paintings and furniture raised by the Winds over the centuries.
