A friend of King Charles revealed the reaction of the monarch to the absence of Kate Middleton by Royal Ascot.
The princess of Wales did not join King Charles and Prince William, and she was “disappointed” not to go there but wanted to find the right “balance” in her return to full -time royal tasks after recovering cancer.
The friends of Kate and William assured that King Charles was not embarrassed by the decision of the Princess of Wales to miss the horse race.
The friends said: “Charles is a very thoughtful and considerate man. He crosses cancer himself so that he understands entirely. He knows everything about good and bad days, physically and mentally. ”
However, a source close to the monarch says the opposite and that the “slightly vague” reasons for “balance” showed the “simmer tensions” with King Charles.
The initiates continued to say that everything comes down to the personal preferences of the family.
“There is a perception in certain districts that Kate simply does not like the race and therefore did not make the effort.
“It’s probably not fair, but you should ask yourself if she would have missed Wimbledon, which she loves.”
“I am sure she was really unable to come, but the last minute nature of the way she was announced makes the king who were failed to respect,” said the initiates.
