Kate Middleton sent a powerful message on the future during the color herd this year.
The Royal Jennie Bond expert noted that the princess of Wales was not in the parade just as one of the most senior royals, but also as a colonel of the Irish guard.
The future queen took her place next to King Charles and Queen Camilla on the dias.
“I also thought it was very important to see Catherine on the platform alongside the king and the queen,” said Jennie.
She added: “It was a very powerful image of our next queen alongside her stepfather who did not hide the respect he has for Catherine, especially after the cancer course they have shared. This has certainly given you the impression that royal life is roughly on the right track after the last 18 months.”
It should be mentioned that Kate could not assume her role as colonel of Irish guards last year because of her treatment against cancer.
In particular, Prince William was standing next to his father during the appearance on the balcony at the Buckingham Palace this year while Kate was invited to stand next to King Charles last year.
“I think the fact that William was standing next to his father on the balcony was a signal that things come back to normal,” said Jennie about the future king.
She added: “Last year was an exception, the princess of Wales taking her first public service since her diagnosis of cancer, and I think that the king showed her special support by asking him to stand by his side. But today it was the right order and, in a way, it was quite reassuring.”
In particular, the expert also noted that the children of Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were on their “best behavior”.
