Future Queen Catherine has taken the cue from Prince William and King Charles – who have a firm plan setting the tone for their respective reigns – as she embarks on a personal mission following her battle with cancer.

Princess Kate, who is the loving mother of her three children, is building on her legacy by leveraging motherhood and other studies to meet the challenges facing children in the future.

The royal is passionate about the education of children, especially during the first years of their lives, and that is why he created an organization dedicated to it, the Early Years Center.

As the world adapts to the digitalization of life, Kate is expressing concerns about how this affects children, a worry she shares with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle despite their differences and grievances.

Recently, she wrote a moving essay about the study that focused on the “power of human connection” in a “distracted” world. Royal author Sally Bedell Smith believes the princess is “doing something real.”

“She uses the resources of her [Centre for Early Childhood] foundation to fund studies that will help identify the problems and where the inadequacies lie and find how parents can be helped, especially with these digital challenges that are overwhelming many parents,” Sally wrote in her Substack.

Professor Robert Waldinger of Harvard University, who co-wrote the essay with Kate, said it was her “signature issue, and she is serious about it and doing her best to contribute.”

The initiative targets not only her children, but also those living across the Atlantic, including Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

The Sussexes launched the Parents Network earlier this year to tackle the problem of harm to young people online. They both remained deeply involved in this issue, not only as advocates, listeners, but ultimately, parents.

Meanwhile, Kate continues her efforts to ensure children have a loving environment where they can thrive.

“I found her speech to the business leaders to be very compelling and indicative of the depth with which she has researched this issue, which means a lot to her,” Sally shared.

Given Kate’s dedication to this work, she hopes that giving voice to a subject considered “unglamorous” will attract attention. Professor Robert suggests it’s “huge” and can make “an incredible difference” to building business with the platform it has.
