A royal historian explained the major role of the princess of Wales Kate Middleton if her eldest son Prince George becomes king before 18 years in the worst case.
Royal historian Marlene Koenig spoke to US Weekly.
The expert said Kate Middleton’s involvement in George’s preparation to become king will be “different” from that of the husband Prince William.
Marlene said: “She will never have a constitutional role, except as a regent in the worst case, if George becomes king before 18 years old.
“She is there to be the loving and united mother in everything George does because he is her son above all.”
King Charles and the heir to the throne Prince William will take the reins with regard to George’s preparation with “the knowledge and practice of their roles”.
The publication also noted that he seems that Prince William and Kate have prepared George for the throne in other respects in recent years.
The prince and princess of Wales dated for almost 10 years before the announcement of their commitment, which allowed Kate for time and space to find out about her future life as a member of the royal family, said and explained the expert: “In time, as the wife of the throne’s heir and finally as Queen Consort.
