The president of France Emmanuel Macron, accompanied by Brigitte Macron, accepted an invitation from King Charles to visit the State in the United Kingdom from Tuesday July 8 to Thursday July 10, 2025.
The president and Ms. Macron will stay at the castle of Windsor.
Now, some details of the visit have been revealed by the Central Royal.
He tweeted: “The king and the queen will officially welcome President Emmanuel Macron from France and Brigitte Macron for a state visit on July 8.
“The president and Mrs. Macron will arrive in Raf Northolt where they will be met by the prince and the princess of Wales.”
He also says: “The prince and the princess of Wales welcome President Emmanuel Macron and Brigitte Macron to Raf Northolt and travel with them to Windsor
“King Charles and Queen Camilla offer an official welcome to Windsor.”
The King and the Queen, the President and Mrs. Macron and the Prince and the Princess of Wales will participate in a transport procession at the Château de Windsor.
“King Charles and President Macron inspect an honorary guard at the castle of Windsor,” said and added “the king and the queen organize a lunch for the president and Ms. Macron, assisted by members of the royal family”.
The details were shared after Kate Middleton, earlier this week, visited the RHS wellness garden at Colchester hospital.
“Wonderful to see Catherine’s rose planted here. 50 have been given to support staff and patients, and bring moments of peace,” said Kate Middleton after the visit.
She added: “Grateful to all those who helped create this special space for well-being and to all those who work and volunteer here to support patients. Thank you also to those who have generously shared their recovery stories.”
