Katherine LaNasa plans to mark the end of The Pitt season 2 with a poker trip to Las Vegas.
The 58-year-old actress made this revelation on November 17 while speaking to the press at She‘s Women in Hollywood in Beverly Hills, admitting that it was a standing tradition to close a season.
“I’m going to Vegas with the set designer,” she said. People. “I play poker. That’s what we do every time.”
LaNasa also reflected on the end of the current season as the team films episode 12 of the 15-episode series. “I can’t wait for the show to come out. I mean, I really enjoy doing the show, [but] I’m a little sad it’s over.”
The actress earned her first-ever Emmy nomination and won for her portrayal of charge nurse Dana Evans on the hit HBO Max medical drama.
The actress, known for her past roles in Judging Amy, Two and a half men, Great loveAnd Satisfactionpreviously told the magazine that the nomination alone seemed to be a career-defining moment.
“I feel like I’ve already won because you never lose your title as an Emmy-nominated actress,” she said. “It’s really a nice sign of approval from your peers.”
