Islamabad:
The superior judge of the High Court of Islamabad (IHC) Mohin Akhtar Kayani said that everything that happened to the ordinary man also reaches the country’s judges.
During the hearing of a case linked to the capital Development Authority (CDA), judge Kayani painted a dark image of the state of various institutions on Thursday, including the judiciary.
According to Judge Kayani, no institution did his job properly.
“Tell me about a single institution in Pakistan who was able to manage his responsibilities. Appolate an institution that does the work she was supposed to do,” said judge Kayani.
The judge observed that, under the law, all the powers of the ADC had to be transferred to the Metropolitan Corporation. He said that the functions currently exercised by the CDA board of directors should rightly belong to the local government, which is also authority over each re -expended roupe.
“The Constitution indicates that the elected officials of the elected officials of the people will exercise authority,” he noted, adding that if the High Court had made four decisions and the Supreme Court, the government had still not authorized the elections to the local government in Islamabad.
Judge Kayani pointed out that the state of the subordinate courts was disastrous. “Our very mind has been lost. Does anyone realize how 250 million people live?” He asked.
He also declared that there are serious governance questions, because the functions intended to be carried out by elected representatives are rather performed by the courts.
“If the law is suitable for someone, he insists that the system must continue; if that does not suit him, the law is canceled. For five years now, the LG elections have not been authorized because they were not suitable for certain districts,” he said.
Calling the “deeply unhappy” situation, judge Kayani said that people could only pray for the improvement of the situation. “Everyone has to do their job. Errors occur, but there should not be bad faith,” he added.
