Pro of the action film genre, Keanu Reeves remembers an injury that he has not yet forgotten, which occurred during the filming of a film.
Notably, it is not an action film but rather a comedy, Chance, which is his next film.
In conversation with the Kelce brothers about their New Heights Podcasthe was asked: “You did all those iconic action movies where you move and fight and run. Is it true that you were more hurt making this last film than in all the others?… Is that correct?
“Yes,” the John Wick star said, explaining, “I was doing a scene and I went back to the locker room, which was in a residence, and they had put down a rug to protect the owner’s.”
He continues: “And then there was a little section, and it caught my foot, and I started to fall, and then I poked my left knee, and my left kneecap went like that.”
“My kneecap, I had a vertical fracture. It didn’t break the top or the bottom,” Keanu shares, illustrating how badly the fall hurt him.
However, the star assures fans that he did not need surgery; instead, he was asked to wear a splint. However, he notes, “until they got the blood out of the capsule, the pain was like banana cakes.” »
