Kensington Palace releases key update amid latest William and Harry conflict

King Charles’ two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, found themselves facing a new conundrum as the estranged brothers appeared to have reached an agreement.

The Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex earlier had a major clash, which many royal experts believed was an attempt by Harry to steal the spotlight from his brother.

William’s fifth Earthshot Prize Awards took place on November 5, which had been planned months in advance, and just days before the event, Harry announced his visit to Canada. He had met with members of the royal regiments, which supposedly required some sort of approval from the Palace since Harry was no longer a serving royal.

Harry’s team had claimed the Palace was informed in advance “as a courtesy”, but a Palace source said The times that no such note was received.

Another shock of events took place on December 1, when William and Harry were supposed to deliver a keynote speech for their respective events. Kensington Palace shared a message from William as there was radio silence from Harry’s team.

“Celebrating Welsh business and the Welsh economy!” the message begins. “From first-class microchip engineering at KLA in Newport to the Wales Investment Summit, we are proud to highlight the best of Welsh industry and Wales’ position as a preferred destination for domestic and international investors. »

William was speaking at the Wales International Convention Center on Monday, which was the largest international gathering in Wales since he hosted NATO leaders 11 years ago in Wales.

The future king described Wales as “a place where cutting-edge technology, research, innovation and a skilled workforce come together in a single, cohesive ecosystem bringing together many different industries”. He said: “It is an honor for me to play my part in championing the vibrant nation of Wales today as we look to the future. »

Meanwhile, Harry reportedly gave a speech at the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) Power House in Toronto. No updates have been made from Montecito. This could have been a way to compensate for the earlier communication problem.
