Khadija Shah defies the sentence of May 9 in LHC

Lahore:

Khadija Shah, a supporter of Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI), appealed before the High Court of Lahore (LHC), contesting the sentence of five years in the context of a case arising from the riots of May 9.

In his petition, Shah argued that the court of first instance had sentenced him to violating the law, arguing that the court had not correctly evaluated the facts and condemned despite the fact that it is not present at the crime.

According to the verdict of the court of first instance, Shah was accused of participation in the fire of a government vehicle near Jinnah House during the riots.
