Khokhar requests a full court on the 26th amendment

Islamabad:

The head of Tehreek-E-Tahafuz Ain-E-Pakistan, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, filed a request for the Supreme Court on Thursday asking for the formation of a complete justice bench on the 26th constitutional amendment.

The petition asked that the majority decision of the practice and procedural committee of October 31 will be implemented, while the administrative decision concerning the unique to the committee’s decision is declared zero and not avenue.

The 26th amendment introduced major reforms in the judiciary, in particular the regulation of SUO MOTU powers of SC.
