As Battlefield 6 completes its content roadmap planned for 2025, the winter offensive releases a whole series of new updates on December 9.
EA detailed the Winter Offensive update in a detailed blog post, revealing the changes coming later this week. There should be a snowy variant of the Empire State map, a new limited-time multiplayer and Gauntlet mode, and even a new melee weapon.
Battleground: Redsec also receives some minor updates, such as changes to the redeployment tag and some bug fixes related to the mode’s second life mechanic.
The Ice Climbing Ax will be added as a new melee weapon as part of a Battle Pass bonus track. This Winter Offensive path will allow players to unlock event boosters, XP boosts, and 11 additional reward tiers.
According to the Battlefield 6 roadmap, Winter Offensive is the last major update planned for 2025. Given the enormous commercial success of Battlefield 6However, there will likely be a lot more for players to enjoy next year.
Battlefield 6 is now available on PS5, PC and Xbox Series X|S. Battleground: Redsec is a free Battle Royale mode, with progression shared with the main game.
