Kim Kardashian Focuses on Chicago Birthday Amid Northern Controversy
Kim Kardashian is investing her energy on the positive aspects of her life as her eldest daughter, North West, makes headlines for choosing her father, Kanye West, over her mother.
The 45-year-old chose not to respond to controversial comments about her firstborn’s rap collaboration with West, and instead shared clips of her youngest daughter’s birthday party in Chicago.
The Kardashians The star took to Instagram on Friday, January 16, a day after Chicago celebrated her 8th birthday and gave fans a sneak peek at her daughter’s Care Bear-themed party.
The reality star shared several snaps on her Stories, showcasing the all-pink, themed decor, as well as the special tiered cake that read “Happy Birthday Chi Chi.”
Kim also showed off the menu which included items such as “everything rainbow” and colorful foods including popcorn and noodles.
The birthday girl herself wore a Care Bear themed outfit and had a real character from the cartoon singing for her special day.
Chicago’s famous aunts and grandmothers were all at the party, and Khloe Kardashian also posted about the party on her Instagram, sharing how she couldn’t believe the little one turned eight.
Kris Jenner also shared a birthday tribute for her granddaughter, writing, “Happy birthday to our precious Chi Chi! I can’t believe you’re 8 today! Time flies. You bring so much joy, warmth, and love into our lives, and it’s impossible not to smile when you’re around.”
