King Charles avoids royal disaster by firmly reminding Harry and Meghan

King Charles may have softened to his youngest son, Prince Harry, over the possibility of a full reconciliation in the future, but he put an end to a crucial issue regarding the Sussexes.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly traveling for their family vacation with friends after celebrating Christmas in Montecito. Meanwhile, the royal family continued their tradition at Sandringham, which Harry and Meghan have not attended since 2019.

Even though the king is eager to meet his grandchildren and wants peace after years of feuding, the former royal butler doubles down on his claim that the Sussexes would never be invited to Sandringham again.

“It will never happen. I have always said it, and I say it again: it will never happen,” said Paul Burrell, a former royal butler and friend of the late Princess Diana. Express.co.uk.

He explained that the reasoning is simple: everyone present would be uncomfortable.

“You have to take into account the dynamics of everyone living under the same roof,” he said. “If you were to inject Harry and Meghan into this mix, into this very particular ‘soup’ of royalty, it would become a complete disaster.”

He suggested Meghan clearly didn’t understand royal tradition and would leave other members feeling uncomfortable, particularly Prince William and Princess Kate.

“Harry himself would have a horrible time,” Paul noted. “There is simply no place for them at Sandringham anymore – there never will be, even when William becomes king. They simply cannot be trusted to keep what is happening at Sandringham a secret.”
