King Charles is under pressure to find a solution to the Prince Andrew problem.
Her Majesty has no choice but to withdraw her younger brother’s royal privileges amid extracts from Virginia Giuffre’s memoirs.
Prince Andrew, who was accused of sexually assaulting Giuffre at the time, was further exposed in an excerpt from the victim’s new book.
Royal expert Jennie Bond told the Mirror: “I think things have reached such a state now, with the latest extracts from Virgina Giuffre’s book, that the public wants another display of punishment for Andrew.
“It seems impossible to force him out of the Royal Lodge, but he could certainly be removed from the Order of the Garter.
“It’s a hideous dilemma for the king, but Andrew’s association with Epstein – who so seriously preyed on young girls – now taints the monarchy and all the good work it does. Something must be done,” she notes.
She then states: “Forbidding him from filming etc. would be another humiliation, that’s for sure. But is that enough?”
