King Charles delegates royal functions to a key member of the royal family.
His Majesty, who is in difficulty in cancer, said the sister-in-law Sophie Wessex to make important trips.
Royal editor Jennifer Newton says: “King Charles confided a royal key nicknamed the company’s” secret weapon “to make a great trip abroad on his behalf.”
She added: “It has been announced that Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh will go to Bosnia and Herzegovina later this week, where on behalf of the monarch, she will attend an event marking the 30th anniversary of the genocide of Srebrenica.”
She wrote in Mirror: “Sophie, who became Duchess of Edinburgh in 2023, was nicknamed” the secret weapon “of the royal family in recent years for her significant approach to her role.”
The expert further continued: “She was the favorite of the late Queen’s and increased in public importance after being credited in the royal circles to discreetly stabilize the ship after a tumultuous period for the company.
