King Charles and Queen Camilla have just visited Pope Francis.
While the royal couple made a trip to the city of the Vatican, a state of the city surrounded by Rome, Italy and the seat of the Roman Catholic church, met him with the head of the platform.
Due to their 20th wedding anniversary, Charles and Camilla received wishes from the Pope himself.
Taking on their official Instagram, the British monarchs have downloaded a photo of them, where Camilla can be seen by shaking the hand of Pope Francis.
While high holiness was dressed in the usual white, the royal couple can be seen bearing graceful black sets.
The legend began: “A special moment for their majesty when they met his Holiness Pope Francis in private to the Vatican yesterday.”
“The King and the Queen were deeply affected by the pope’s remarks on their 20th wedding anniversary and honored to be able to share their best wishes in person,” he said.
This comes after King Charles entered history by becoming the first British sovereign to address a joint session of the Italian Parliament.
