King Charles, realizing that the royal family was going through difficult times, ensured that their loyalty was recognized and that credit was given where it was due.
The monarch, who is currently facing fury surrounding her shamed brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, has received criticism for her delay in taking action.
Additionally, before Andrew’s arrest, there had already been discussions about how the royal family still took a “safe” stance, even when shocking findings were laid bare in the Epstein files. Meanwhile, Prince William and Princess Kate have been called out for their “lukewarm” statement on the issue.
Even though Charles and the royal family have reiterated their position, public resentment still simmers.
However, the royal family is showing courage in the face of the storm and continuing its duty and service to the public.
Amidst the noise, Charles chose to write a profound message, expressing his gratitude for a kind gesture he received from one of his bosses.
“Please convey my warmest thanks to the members of the Scout Association for their faithful greetings, sent on the occasion of their Founder’s Day,” the King wrote to the Scouts’ charity.
“As your patron, I greatly appreciate your faithful message of greetings. In return, I extend my warmest wishes to all present for a memorable event.”
He signed “Charles R”, indicating that the letter was written personally by the monarch.
Following the message, the association said it was “honored to receive this message of thanks and good wishes” which was sent to all “volunteers and young people on this Founder’s Day”.
