His Majesty, who invited Donald Trump for a second state visit to the United Kingdom, helps Great Britain to forge close relations with America.
According to the editor -in -chief of the Daily Mail, Richard Eden, His Majesty plays an essential role in world peace.
He said: “This is discussed at the highest level. It would be a wonderful decision that would symbolize the close relationship of Great Britain with the United States.
“Donald Trump loves Great Britain and has great respect for the royal family, so we think he would see the advantages of this.
“Associated membership could, hopefully, be followed by a full member, which makes Commonwealth even more important as a global organization.”
