King Charles cannot save the monarchy with limited punishment for Prince Andrew, it is revealed.
Her Majesty, who apparently forced her scandalous brother to give up his titles, is reminded that she must go above and beyond to make the public happy.
“Make no mistake, it was not his choice,” said royal expert Richard Eden. “The king forced his hand and made his brother Andrew voluntarily abandon them rather than drag the issue to Parliament, which would have gotten even more bad press for Andrew.”

“If they hoped that [dropping the titles] that would be the end, unfortunately they have to think about it again,” says Richard.
“I am a royalist,” he adds, “but if the monarchy wants to last, it must set an example. If it is continually degraded by this kind of sordid story, then its very future is in danger.”
