Kirsten Dunst and Channing Tatum are teaming up for their highly anticipated new film Roofman, and the admiration between the two co-stars is mutual.
In a new interview with PEOPLE MagazineDunst opened up about her favorite Tatum performances, returning the compliment after recently speaking about his work.
“I’m so proud of him and Derek, and I just really love this band so much,” Dunst said warmly of him. Roofer collaborators.
When asked which of Tatum’s films she loved the most, the actress replied, “I loved Foxcatcher and 21 Jump Street.”
“These two are my favorites,” she remarked before moving on to a new topic.
His comments came shortly after Tatum said at the Toronto International Film Festival that his favorite Dunst film was 1994’s Interview with the Vampire, the film that launched his Hollywood career.
“Everything she’s done, I’ve been obsessed with,” Tatum admitted, confessing that teaming up with Dunst in Roofman, where their characters fall in love, made him “a little nervous.”
