If match 1 was not shocking enough, match 2 provided another fourth quarter thriller which led to a victory of 91-90 Knicks, where they returned from a 20-point hole and took advantage of an icy shooting performance by the Celtics.

Now the series goes to New York this weekend with the Knicks having a main role in series of seven commanders that no one has seen coming.

But that was the result of the fact that Boston failed to pull from the ground in the fourth quarter since the three points of Payton Pritchard with 8:40 to play in the match. Yes, for more than eight minutes, the Celtics, despite the widely open looks, could not make one.

Meanwhile, Mikal Bridges, who was once again a defensive hero in it, had 14 points from the fourth quarter to help the return of the Knicks. But it was the two -point passages from Jalen Brunson on Jrue Holiday who gave the Knicks their first advance since the first three of Og Anunoby to start the match.

The head of 87-86 Knicks arrived at the two-minute brand, and the two teams knew it would be again over the course. With 18.1 seconds to the chronometer, Jayson Tatum led a side by side, making his way around Knicks and slamming a dunk which gave Boston a slight margin of 90-89.

At the other end, however, Brunson was the victim of a foul on vacation and had two free throws to regain the head. He nailed the two, and it was due to another defensive possession for New York. For Boston, they just hoped that one of their stars would pass and save the victory.

But Tatum was met by several Knicks as he tried to head towards the hoop, and just when he got up for a basic jumper, Bridges surprised him with his long wing and snatched the ball to win.

Bridges did almost exactly the same thing in match 1, when he withdrew Jaylen Brown to freeze victory.

Knicks certainly did not have the best offensive performance, especially Brunson compared to his usual production. He scored 17 out of 6 out of 19 shots on the field, while New York fired 43% and 29% in depth in the team.

However, Boston spent another difficult night on the offensive side, reaching only 10 of his 40 three -point attempts. They missed 45 in match 1 and now 30 others added a total of the series. As a team, the Celtics only drew 36.2% of the field.

Match 3 will be played at Madison Square Garden on Saturday with a tip HE at 3.30 p.m.
