Peshawar:
The merchants, on the call of Jamaat-E-Islami (JI), observed a complete drop-down strike through Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP), including Peshawar, in order to express solidarity with the inhabitants of Gaza, during which all kinds of companies have remained completely closed.
With traders, the transport community also protested the atrocities of Israel against innocent civilians in Gaza.
On this occasion, traders also eliminated protest gatherings and burned the Israeli flag.
All the main commercial areas of Peshawar, including the old fortified city, Ashraf Road, Qissa Khwani Bazaar, Chowk Yadgar, Rampura Bazaar, Khyber Bazaar, Saddar, University Road and other shopping centers have remained entirely closed.
On the call of the JI and various commercial organizations, commercial activities across the country were completely suspended.
In Peshawar and other districts in the province, the major and minor markets remained closed and, during demonstrations in certain regions, the demonstrators chanted slogans against Israel and in support of the Palestinians.
In this regard, under the banner of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Tanzeem Tajiran, a central protest camp was installed at the Porte de Rampura in Peshawar to express their solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine and to protest against the Israeli atrocities.
The demonstration was led by the president of Tanzeem Tajran, Malik Mehr Elahi.
A large number of presidents of bazaars and members of the business world participated in the protest camp.
Peshawar’s president of Peshawar, Shakeel Ahmad Saraf, also strongly condemned the attack by Israel and India.
The protest camp was supported by Pakistan Business Forum, Pakistan Peoples Trade Wing, other commercial associations and political and social figures who promised total support for the strikes’ strikes and promised to stand behind future action plans.
During their speeches at the camp, the participants demanded that the government of Pakistan and the army impose a complete ban on the import and trade of Israeli products and companies.
They stressed that it was time for a strong and decisive response to terrorism and malicious conceptions of Israel and India.
The business world has expressed strong anger against the elements of Israel, Israel, and anti-Islam and raised slogans of “death in Israel and India”, filling the air with their songs.
The demonstrators held banners and agitated in solidarity Palestinian flags, while the Israeli flags were burned during the demonstrations.
Traders also said that all Islamic countries should now unite and raise the jihad flag against anti-Islamic forces.
