Friday, the governments of Punjab led by KP and PML-NNNNNNN to access the prison of Adiala, the former balustrade against the restrictions to meet with the Imran Khan incarceration, while the latter rejected the outcry like “ Political policy ”.

The lawyer for the KP Information Advisor, SAIF, strongly condemned restrictions on meetings with the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-E-insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, describing it as a clear sign of government despair.

In a statement, the lawyer Saif said that an imprisoned Imran Khan had left the “illegitimate government” without sleep, alleging that the objective of prohibiting meetings and imposing other restrictions is to put it in for conclude an agreement.

However, he said that the government should understand that “Imran Khan will not be part of an agreement as Nawaz Sharif has done.”

The KP councilor also accused the “mandate government government” not only to violate fundamental human rights, but also to commit an outrage at the Court.

“The ban on meetings increases serious doubts and has caused a deep concern among the party workers,” he added.

He demanded the immediate lifting of the restrictions of meetings with Imran Khan.

He also targeted the chief minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, saying that his words and actions contradict each other. “She talks about providing installations to Imran Khan in her speeches, but reality is completely different,” he added.

‘Pti play the victim card’

On the other hand, the Minister of Information of Punjab, Azma Bokhari, refuted the allegations of any restriction at meetings with Imran Khan, claiming that the family, lawyers and leaders of the incarcerated leader continue to meet him as per usual.

“The Punjab government has not imposed any ban on meetings with the founder of the PTI,” said Bokhari, responding to KP information advisor Muhammad Ali Saif.

She added that those who made such claims expect prisons to work like amusement parks, where anyone can visit at will without regulation.

“When the Tehreek-e-Fasad [PTI] In short, they are starting to play the “victim card,” she said.

In an apparent reference to the missives of Imran to the chief of the army, she added that the drafting of letters neither obtained any agreement for the party.

Bokhari has also criticized the PTI to “run propaganda campaigns” against the individuals even to which they call for help.

She allegedly alleged that around 50 members of PTI in London protest during the visit of the army chief, aligning foreign agendas. “The party that claims to represent the Pakistanis abroad has seen all its calls rejected by them,” she said.

Bokhari added that PTI’s policy remains incomplete without referring to Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz.

Meanwhile, the president of PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Junaid Akbar, filed a petition before the High Court of Islamabad (IHC) asking for permission to meet Imran in prison.

Thanks to the lawyer Ayesha Khalid, Akbar submitted the petition indicating that he was denied access to the founder of the PTI during a planned visit. The plea asks the court to ask the prison superintendent to authorize the meeting.
