Kylie Jenner announced some disappointing news to her fans, her days of going all out for Halloween are officially over, and the reason comes down to simple economics.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder, 28, revealed on the Big brother with the Kid Cudi podcast that the cost of his famous over-the-top Halloween looks and accompanying photo shoots has become too high to justify continuing year after year.
“The amount of money that I spend not only on costumes but also on photo shoots, I have taken it out,” she said. “I can’t do this every year…It’s quite a problem.”
The topic came naturally as Jenner and host Kid Cudi reminisced about how they met, going back to hunger games premiere, before recalling the memorable Halloween parties they both attended in the years that followed.
Jenner was quick to compliment Cudi’s own sartorial efforts at these gatherings.
“Lots of crazy Halloween parties. You have the best costumes,” she told him. The Grammy winner returned the flattery, saying he “definitely” did his “best work” at his Halloween parties.
Jenner has built a reputation over the years for not just one Halloween look, but often for multiple elaborate disguises over the course of a single holiday weekend, each accompanied by a fully realized photo shoot.
