The death of the former LSU wide receiver, Kyren Lacy, sent shock waves in the world of football on Sunday with several NFL players and other athletes expressing their condolences.
Lacy was found dead in Houston, an LSU official confirmed to PK Press Club Digital. The cause of death has not been announced. Lacy was 24 years old.

“We are saddened to learn the tragic death of the former student-athlete of LSU football, Kyren Lacy,” LSU said in a statement to PK Press Club Digital. “Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and relatives, as well as his former teammates and coaches affected by his death.”
Several athletes reacted to the death of Lacy on X.
The broad receiver, which graduated in December and could have been a selection at the next NFL draft, was the subject of an investigation in Louisiana as part of an accident in December which killed a 78 -year -old, officials announced in January.

He was accused of having driven recklessly – accelerate and go to a non -passing area – when the motorist has swerved to avoid Lacy and crashed into another vehicle.
He fled the place of the accident without calling for help, said the state of Louisiana. An arrest warrant was obtained for Lacy for negligence, an offense of offense and an imprudent operation of a vehicle.
A large jury would have been ready to hear evidence in the case on Monday.
