Lahore traffic police have completed preparations to ensure smooth traffic management during the next Tri-Nation series, with more than 1,000 traffic agents to be deployed in service.
In addition to the deployment of officers, the police will also use 20 fork weightlifters and four broken vehicles to manage all poor parking cases and to quickly eliminate the roads, Express News reported.
According to the Director of Lahore Traffic (CTO), Dr. Athar Waheed, spectators participating in cricket matches will be able to park their vehicles on designated parking spaces, including the government areas of the government, Liberty, CBD near Center Point and LDA Plaza.
He assured the public that no road will be closed permanently during the event.
However, traffic can be temporarily interrupted during the team departures, but the roads will be reopened immediately after the deaths of the teams.
Dr. Waheed stressed that the main roads, including Mall Road, Prison Road, Canal Road and Ferozepur Road, would remain open to traffic throughout the day.
The CTO also advised citizens to avoid park in limited areas and to park only in the designated places to ensure a smooth flow flow.
Traffic updates will be made available via the Rasta and Rasta FM 88.6 application for public awareness.
The Lahore traffic police assured that the event will not cause significant disruption to everyday shuttle, and citizens are encouraged to follow the traffic guidelines for a hassle -free experience.
