Lakers’ NBA Cup court deemed unplayable after Luka Doncic complaints

After the future of their franchise was decided against their NBA Cup field, the Los Angeles Lakers were forced to make a last-minute change on Friday.

All 30 NBA teams are changing their courts for a much more decorative look during NBA Cup competitions throughout the regular season, but there have been numerous complaints since the beginning.

More recently, it was Luka Doncic who described the Lakers’ court as “dangerous.”

Doncic’s claim was substantial, as the NBA Cup court used by the Lakers was deemed unplayable for Friday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks by technicians, the team said via ESPN. Thus, the match will be played on the Lakers’ normal playing surface.
