Calendar X of the quarter-arre is filled with religious messages and with him proclaiming that “God is good”. He also republished biblical messages from different accounts.
However, the apparently harmless position that he shaved on X sparked a frenzy of hatred towards the double MVP of the NFL.

Jackson’s political ideologies are not clear, but what has been clear is his belief in God and in Jesus. He wanted to praise the Lord before and after the Ravens Games.

He declared in 2023 by signing a new contract with the Ravens that he was not concerned about what foreigners were talking about him while he negotiated the New Deal.
“This is not what people say. … It is a question of believing in you at the end of the day,” he said at the time, via the sporting spectrum. “Keep God first because without him, there is no Lamar Jackson. I’m going to tell you now.”
It is far from the first time that Jackson put his faith first and it does not seem to stop anytime soon.

Kirk later responded to the controversy, saying “Jesus is the path, the truth and the life”.
