Large celebration in progress in Pakistan Monument

Friday, a ceremony takes place at the Pakistani monument in Islamabad to celebrate the important achievements of the Bunyanum Marsoos and Marka-E-Haq operation. The event aims to thank Allahy Allah and to honor the success of the Braves Armed Forces of Pakistan.

Today, Youm-E-Tashakur (day of gratitude) is observed nationally to commemorate the historic victory of Ma’araka-e-Haq and pay tribute to the valiant armed forces and to the inhabitants of Pakistan.

The ceremony began with a Koranic recitation and is frequented by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chairman of the Committee of Chiefs of Staff, Heads of Service, Members of the Federal Cabinet, Foreign Diplomats, Deputy Prime Minister and other representatives of the government.

An aerial display of Fighter Jets was also part of the event, presenting their capacities. The performance has met enthusiastic songs of “Long Live Pakistan” of those present.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Shehbaz visited the combined military hospital (CMH) in Rawalpindi to find out about the health of soldiers and civilians injured during Marka-e-haq.
