- The official images of Google Pixel 9a seem to have disclosed
- They show four colors, including what seems to be a new purple version
- Google also seems to abandon the iconic camera bar bump
If we believe the rumors, the Google Pixel 9a could make its official debut later this month – but while we are expecting, a plethora of disclosed images have found their path online, showing the mid -range handset.
These images come from well -known Tipster @evleaks and seem to be official marketing images of Google. We have a glance at the four – obsidian (black), porcelain (white), peony (pink) and iris (purple) colors – although it is the purple that presents the most.
Certain key Android features are presented in these images, such as access to the Google Gemini AI assistant and integrated flight protection. There are also lifestyle photos showing the phone used in a variety of scenarios.
One of the images shows that the Pixel 9a has been splashed by water, which makes us think that it will keep the resistance to dust and IP67 water from Google Pixel 8A which launched last year, and that this combined will replace.
Loan for a close -up
These disclosed images also give us a close appearance of a controversial design choice that Google apparently made with the Pixel 9a: the emblematic bump of the pixel camera bar disappears, the rear camera seated almost at the rear of the device.
You can see on one of these images that there is what seems to be a very slight camera bump – and we mean slightly. This suggests that the phone will not be perfectly flat on its back when you put it.
It is a daring decision for Google to withdraw the design choice which made the Pixel distinctive series, but it is a decision that was supposed for a while. Google may want to get its mid -range phones and flagship phones that are less similar.
Whatever the reflection, everything will be official very soon. Most rumors point to Wednesday, March 19 on the launch date of the 9A Pixel – and of course as soon as Google will do its announcement, we will bring you the news here.
