- Another image of the DJI Osmo Action 6 leaked
- The photo shows the camera on a motorcycle
- We could see an official launch in the coming weeks
It seems very likely that a new contender for our list of best action cameras will debut in the coming weeks, in the form of the DJI Osmo Action 6, and a new image of the device has now leaked online.
As with most previous leaks of this camera, the image comes from famous tipster Igor Bogdanov – but unlike the images we’ve seen before, this one shows the DJI Osmo Action 6 actually in a real-world environment.
Previous shots of this action camera looked like official renders used for online retail ads, while this one appears to be a marketing image showing the device attached to the handlebars of a motorcycle.
We can also see what the DJI Osmo Action GPS Bluetooth remote looks a lot like, already available as an optional accessory for DJI cameras. The screen displays 1 hour and 53 minutes of storage space remaining for 4K/30fps video.

Aside from the fact that this is an interesting photo of the DJI Osmo Action 6 actually in action, it doesn’t really tell us much new about the successor to the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro – we’ve already seen the design, front and back, in previous leaks.
Taking a close look at renders that previously appeared online, we can see a variable aperture from f/2.0 to f/4.0 and a camera sensor size of 1/1.1-inch (compared to the current model’s 1/1.3-inch sensor).
So the camera should be a pretty substantial upgrade, but DJI hasn’t officially said anything yet about the device, or when it might appear. There have been rumors that Monday, November 10 will be the launch date, so we’ll have to wait and see.
Of course, treat these leaks and rumors with a pinch of salt, as usual – but these images come from a reliable source, and it would be surprising if what we see here isn’t actually the final design of the DJI Osmo Action 6.
