Islamabad:
A lawyer moved the IHC on Wednesday, seeking audio and video recordings of a recent audience procedure, after which judge Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri was prevented from working as a judge.
Lawyer Jahangir Jadoon submitted the request to the IHC registrar, declaring that during the hearing of September 16 in the courtroom No. 1, the chief judge Sarfraz Dogar had declared to the lawyers that no order was made.
However, after the end of the hearing, the news surfaced that judge Jahangiri had been prevented from working. Therefore, asked Barrister Jadoon, the official recordings be provided to him to remove the ambiguity.
