Leader JUI-F led in the mosque of the Waziristan mosque

North Waziristan:

An explosion of bomb inside a mosque during Friday prayers in the southern district of Waziristan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa injured the chief of the district of Jamiat-Ema-Elam (JUI) Abdullah Nadeem and three others, police announced.

According to police officer Asif Bahader, the improvised explosive device (IED) was planted in the pulpit of the Maulana Abdul Aziz mosque on Azam Warsak bypass Road and exploded at 1:45 p.m.

“In the explosion, Abdullah Nadeem, the chief of the district of Jui, was seriously injured,” he said. “Three others, also belonging to the Jui, suffered minor injuries.”

A police press release identified the injured as Rehmanullah, Mullah Noor and Shah Behran. DPO Bahader confirmed that all people injured had been transferred to the district headquarters for immediate medical treatment.

“The police also reached the explosion site and collects evidence,” he added, noting that a survey was underway.

According to the district police spokesperson Habib Islam, no group has claimed the responsibility of the attack so far.

“Maulana Abdullah has received death threats for some time,” he revealed. “He was also attacked about seven or eight months ago.”

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the attack, appealing to him a “loose act of the enemy”.

“The sacred character of the mosque was violated during the sacred month of Ramazan,” he said. “The animals that led this attack do not deserve any concessions.”

He also prayed for the rapid recovery of Maulana Abdullah and other injured victims.

Meanwhile, the head of Jui-F Maulana Fazlur Rehman strongly condemned the explosion of a mosque in southern Waziristan, denouncing the attack as a serious violation of the sacred character of the sacred month of Ramazan and the place of worship.

Expressing his sorrow on the incident, the Clerc-Polician underlined the need for the government and the security institutions to trust the nation concerning the deterioration of the situation of the public order, in particular Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balutchistan.

He deplored that the climbing of disorders in these regions has been neglected several times in the two chambers of Parliament, despite its severity.

Chief Jui-F also prayed for the rapid recovery of Maulana Abdullah Nadeem and other injured victims of the attack.
