Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James faced questions about his future from the NBA after he and his team were eliminated from the first Tour of the NBA qualifiers on Wednesday evening.

The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Lakers in match 5 and won the series, 4-1. James did not seem to make concrete decisions about his career in the future.

“I don’t have the answer to this,” said James when he asked him how long he will continue to play. “Something I am going to sit with my wife and my support group and somehow talk about it, and see what’s going on. I just have conversations with myself on how long I want to continue playing. I don’t know the answer for the moment, to be honest.”

Each year since the bubble season could have been the year when James finally moved away from the match. However, in season 22, having played a few games with his son Bonny, it seems that the list of achievements continues to shorten.

James collected an average of 24.4 points and 7.8 rebounds per match in 70 appearances for the Lakers this season. Los Angeles reached the third seeded in the playoffs of the Western Conference. It was the first time that he had finished less than 25 points per game since his recruit season in 2003-2004.

He collected 22 points, seven rebounds and six assists during the defeat of 103-96 on Wednesday.

“It is mine if I will continue to play, or how long I will continue to play,” said James. “It is finally mine, so it has nothing to do with someone else.”

Nothing indicates that James would not return to the Lakers for the 2025-26 season. He has a player option of $ 52.6 million for next year and would become a free agent without restriction after that.

James would break the NBA longevity record if he spoke next season. He also has 49 regular season games behind Robert’s parish for most matches played.

He already holds the record of all time and the League record for most of the career playoff matches.
