Lenovo has quietly released a new Lecoo brand mini PC in China called Mini Pro, a system that combines relatively solid performance with a compact and low power design.
Lecoo is not a widely known brand of the Lenovo World Portfolio, but he joins a long list of sub-wates that the company manages, in particular Motorola Mobility, Lenovo Nec, Medion and Loq.
While most of these brands have defined market positions or regional orientations, Lecoo seems to be going to affordable technology and accessories.
A compact system at a price for users concerned for the budget
At the price of $ 363 and $ 615 depending on the configuration, the Lecoo Mini Pro enters the same market space as many affordable workstation alternatives.
This device is powered by the Ryzen 7,8745h processor of AMD, a chip that belongs to the Hawk Point family and is similar to the Ryzen 7,8745hs.
It includes integrated graphics Radeon 780m, which means that it can attack the workloads from low to medium.
For heavier graphic use, the two USB4 ports of the system allow external GPU connectivity, an increasingly common functionality on new corporate PC configurations and one that extends its capacities beyond typical desktop work.
Internally, the Lecoo Mini Pro supports up to 32 GB of RAM DDR5 at 5600 MHz and offers dual PCIe 4.0 m.2 locations for storage, pushing it near the PC territory of the workstation in terms of memory and reader expansion.
Despite the material capacity, the Lecoo Mini Pro remains a device the size of a palm and low power.
Even in its highest performance mode (70W), the thermal output is maintained under control using two fans and an aluminum chassis, and Lenovo says that the noise level of this device is as low as 32 decibels in calm mode.
Another force of this device is connectivity, and it supports a mixture of inherited and modern accessories-because it includes two USB4 ports, two Ethernet 2.5G, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 sockets and several USB-A ports while supporting Wi-Fi 6 as the only wireless option.
Lenovo has confirmed that Lecoo Mini Pro will be available for world delivery, and the sales page accepts payment via PayPal.
