- Lenovo has unveiled two innovative conceptual products
- The concept thinkbook vertiflex has a screen that runs at 90 degrees in portrait mode
- The Smart Motion concept is an intelligent laptop stand that can ergonomically position your laptop and offer voice control and gestures
Lenovo has unveiled a very different laptop with a screen that can run, as well as a even more left notebook stand – it can be intelligently oriented compared to the user’s position – on its innovation event World 2025 (which occurs alongside IFA 2025).
These are two conceptual products, it should be noted, and we have already seen the previews because they were disclosed by the rumor mill this week.
The laptop is the concept of Veriflex Thinkbook Lenovo and its main innovation is a 14 -inch rotary display per 90 degrees. Essentially, the screen pivots independently of the cover to sit in a vertical position (portrait) if you need the screen to be larger, or you can have it in the horizontal (landscape) orientation (landscape).
Have portrait mode as an easy option to access in fact a practical laptop for coders, or writers, or in fact those who read long documents (it will also be a clever option to reflect your smartphone, perhaps).
Unfortunately, we do not get much information on the Veriflex thinkbook, except for the fact that it is thin and light, weighing 1.39 kg and being 18 mm thick. Of course, it is still a very early work in progress, and just proof of concept, so it is not a surprise that the details are thin on the field.
Stay where you live
On the laptop stand, which is called the concept of intelligent movement Lenovo – in a way, “stand” has not made the name.
It is an intelligent notebook support that uses the camera, the microphone and other sensors of your laptop to ergonomically position the device. It has “auto -facial follow -up” – Lenovo does not explain exactly what it does, but it is probably oriented the laptop to wherever your face is – and there is also a voice control. Or you can use an “AI ring” included for controlling support gestures.
In short, there are many sophisticated control options for this intelligent laptop stand, and this seems intriguing. We will really need to see him in action before drawing conclusions, however.
Obviously, we do not have a release period, not even provisional, because as mentioned, it is early here. Indeed, it is quite possible that nothing can come from these ideas.
