Lenovo has announced a number of new products, including new ThinkPad laptops and thinkbook concepts like Veriflex, Aka Project Pivo, which has a rotary screen.
The company has also shown the Thinkvision P40WD-40, a new Ultrairs curved instructor for creative and professional users.
With a 39.7 -inch panel and a 5120×2160 resolution, the screen offers more space to work while adding features that place it somewhere between a monitor and a mooring center.
Not true 5k
Lenovo describes the screen as 5K, although its 21: 9 appearance ratio means that it is not a standard 5K panel.
The width offers an additional space for the visualization of side -by -side applications, while vertical resolution remains closer to a 4K screen.
The sales instructor covers 98% of the DCI-P3 color range and uses IPS Black technology to improve contrast and provide darker tones.
The display has a 2500R curve, intended to keep the panel edges in the natural field of vision of a user.
Lenovo says that the design is suitable for publishing projects, comparing data on large spreadsheets or working in multiple provisions.
It can also appeal to users who watch large video content on their work displays.
The Thunderbolt 4 thinkvision supports Thunderbolt 4 with unique mooring. I would have liked it to offer Thunderbolt 5, but I guess you can’t have everything.
Power delivery reaches 140W under the PD3.1 standard, which is enough to run a laptop such as a MacBook Pro.
Additional ports include DisplayPort outputs for Daisy’s chaining.
The instructor also incorporates a 2.5 g Ethernet port, which I really like. This is something that is still rare on screens and could reduce dependence on separate quays.
Lenovo has integrated energy saving measures that go beyond the simple brightness adjustments.
The panel supports a 24 -Hz 24 Hz refresh beach, and a functionality developed by Lenovo called display of arrangement power can adapt the cooling rates dynamically without affecting image quality.
The company claims that the instructor uses up to 34% less energy than Energy Star 8.0 standards.
Thinkvision P40WD-40 will be available from October 2025, with a planned starting price of $ 2,182.
